Hello, and welcome to the Work In Progress thread for Bocaj Hero III: Legends. My main objective with this setlist is to make a bigger, harder and more fun setlist than the first two Bocaj Heroes. I also tried to bring back a bit of the feel from Bocaj Hero I by including songs from bands such as My Dying Bride, Opeth, Pinkly Smooth and Atreyu. It has quite a wide range of songs (but it rarely goes away from the metal genre), from classic bands like Rush and Led Zeppelin to extreme bands like Brain Drill and Origin, to epic bands like Rhapsody and Symphony X, to dark-sounding bands like Lycia and Fields Of The Nephilim, to modern metal bands like Trivium and Corpus Christi, and everywhere inbetween. The setlist is also challenging, where the very hardest songs of the first two setlists, like The Glass Prison and Fight Fire With Fire, wouldn't even be in the final tier of this setlist, and songs like Storming The Burning Fields, The Demonic Solo and Flight Of The Bumblebee even coming close to the final tiers of Puppetz Hero IV (or at least, that's my hope).

Don't wanna dis this, but don't you think you have enough going on?

I like having lots of work to do. :p And after properly playing Puppetz Hero 4, I couldn't resist. Also, the background videos for Masterpiece are likely to take ages anyway. Apparently if Nobby (who is doing them) did high-quality videos with realistic effects, it'd take something like 80 years to render the whole thing. Even if he does low-quality videos, it'll still take like 20 minutes per frame, so he'll try to find a way around that (like maybe do more of a slideshow-style thing). And there's songs I wanna chart that won't fit in Masterpiece and I'm not a fan of having songs not in any heroes.

Okay, so I've completely changed the structure of this hero. It'll just be a normal-style setlist, but I'll focus more on putting in lots of hard songs to keep with my primary goal of this. The setlist's looking pretty cool at the moment and contains lots of bands which aren't in either of the first two Bocaj Hero setlists, quite a few of which are in Puppetz Hero 4. I'll post a WIP setlist once it's more "done". Please make recommendations for songs, preferably ones that'd be very difficult to play (like the top tiers of the first 2 Bocaj Heroes and the second half of Puppetz Hero 4.

Added 8 albums to bring the setlist size up to 150. I have decided to have an album exclusive to Frets On Fire Downloads and another one exclusive over at Frets On Fire Fan Forums. Luckily, both have the same amount of songs which I haven't done yet, so the setlist size is the same on both forums.

Hmm, added 5 exclusive songs for each forum but to be honest, it feels more like "selling out" rather than "being loyal", as I'd actually rather have both sets on both forums, so I'm going to integrate all 10 songs between the exclusive sets, along with a few new songs, and add another tier to the setlist.
