| WOOOO Yeah!
So I was talking to my friends at school today. I play guitar, and my friend andy is learning how. My other friend randy can play drums, so we talked about forming a band. We got together and we were brainstorming band names. Andy came up with snakeside, and some how, I blurted out Sidewinder as soon as he said it. So we are called Sidewinder (for now). Anyway we stull need as bass player (http://www.musolist.com/83848-Alabama-Band-Wants-Bass-Player) and postede an ad online at school.
Anyone interested in playing must email me at avoltura@yahoo.com. I came up with some mock ups of a logo and they look ok. I'll upload pics later. Please, WE NEED A BASS PLAYER!!!! | |

Funny enough I just got in one myself.
My sister knew this kid who was HUGE into metallica and megadeth and my sister told me to meet him. He played a Metallica montage at a talent show at my school and I waited after it to meet him and I asked if he wanted to get a band going, he said 'I'm in one already' I died inside and went home. The next week he calls me asking 'hey do you want to jam with my friends?' so I showed up with my bass and my equipment and we start jammin. We played 'For Whom The Bell Tolls' and I played the live version from Cliff Burton (with the little solos) and I hear "That's it, hes in' It turns out it was an audition for the band, and I thought we were just having a good time!
we're playing our 1st show in 1 month. | |
