PS3 DLC Sharing

This topic was specifically designed for PS3 Gamesharing. To gameshare you need to follow the following instructions:


1. Find a PSN member (here in specific)
2. Exchange the following info in a PM

~YOUR Email Address
~YOUR Password

These are for YOUR PSN account. Make sure you trut the person your exchanging with so that they don't screw with your account.

3. Create a new PS3 user with the persons PSN ID as the name. You can only share with 4 different people.
4. Create a NEW PSN account, but instead of new user, click on existing user.
5. Enter the persons email and address. Make sure they ARE correct or this will NOT work.
6. You should get a confirmation message.
7. Sign in. Now if done correctly, your new account should be the persons already existing account. Ex. I'm slashfan but I'm in thebocajs's PSN.
8. Exchange messages when both of you have logged in. You'll notice that the message you recieve from the person your sharing with is YOUR PSN ID. This is how you can make sure they both worked. Another thing to do is check your persons PSN tag thingy in the friedns list. Make sure you can edit it, but don't actually play with anything.
9. Go into Account Management.
10. Go into Download History, and let it load.
11. Download everything corresponding to the games you want (Ex Guitar Hero DLC/Rock Band DLC, Disc Exports etc.)
12. Make sure you download in the background.
13. Exit the History, and Account Management.
14. You can now completely log out of the user and log back into your own account when you are both done. Make sure you have everything in the download manager and exchange messages confirming that both of you have everything you want.
15. Log back into your own account, don't worry everythings still there.
16. Let them finish downloading. Depending on how much you get, this can take from a few minutes to a couple of days. This also depends on your internet speed.
17. Install things periodically.
18. Load up the game(s) and enjoy your new DLC!!!



THIS ONLY WORKS FOR GAMES THAT YOU BOTH OWN UNLESS EXPORTING. IF ONE PERSON EXPRTED THEY MUST HAVE THE DISC TO EXPORT SONGS FROM ONE GAME TO ANOTHER THEN THE OTHER CAN DOWNLOAD THAT SO THAT BOTH PLAYERS HAVE IT IN THE GAME THE SONGS WERE EXPORTED TO.

Yep this works. I got full Rb2/GH5 exports as well as 40 new songs as DLC


And yes I've been dying to have it

I'll do that next time I go on then. I also have GHWT, GHGH, RB1 exports and a few hundred songs for RB. Hmm, does the store region matter actually? Mainly wondering since I think the RB1 export comes with the free European DLC.

IDK dude I've only done it with estemshorn.


But damn!!!!!!!!!!! I REALLY wanted all of that lol. All my games are PS2 haha
